Steam Success Stories

Chicagoland resident Sue Ortner recently spoke with us about her experience with the Steamist steambath she installed a few years ago. Following is her steam success story!

"We installed a Steamist system in 2008 when we did a total remodel on a home we bought. We had a steam shower in our last house, and based on our experience, we were not convinced that we should put one in the new house. Ultimately, we decided it was better to install a steam shower during the remodel than to try to do it later. It was the BEST decision that we could have made. The Steamist system is so much better than our last one. It gets hot almost immediately and delivers very even steam in the shower - no hot spots! After a steam, my skin feels like velvet and there is nothing better than taking a steam in the winter when it is so cold and bitter outside. The generator is in the closet in the bathroom and takes up no space at all. It is quiet and easily accessible. I love having this and could not imagine a master bath without one. It's one of those features that you don't know you need until you have it, and then can't think of life without it!" -Sue Ortner
